Dry Skin: Skin Rejuvenation Tips for your type of Skin

by Judy Aulin

If you have dry skin then you probably struggle with many different skin issues. One of the top concerns is quite possibly premature aging. This is a common problem in people with dry skin because this skin type wrinkles far quicker than other skin types. To make things worse, dry skin can also be quite sensitive to some skin care products.

Now, the question is, if you have dry skin, what are you going to do about anti aging skin care? If you haven't already, you may have to make a few changes in your skin care routine, but they'll be worth it once you see the results.

Skin Regeneration & Dry Skin

In general terms, anti aging skin care for dry skin is about the same as general skin care for dry skin.

Tip One - Don't forget your Moisturizer

The best anti aging tip for any one with dry skin is to moisturizer. The lack of moisture is a key characteristic of dry skin that usually leads to tightness, itching, and wrinkling. The type of moisturizer and frequency of application will depend on how dry your skin is.

Normally, you should apply a moisturizer at least twice a day as part of your daily cleansing routine, but if your skin requires more moisture then you can reapply as needed. If your skin is extremely dry, then you should try using a non-comedogenic oil like olive oil instead of a cream.

If you use olive oil as a cleanser, you might not need to use it as a moisturizer. This, however, will depend on the dryness of your skin.

Tip Two - Moderate your Showering Time

Long, hot showers will strip your skin of its natural oils so make sure that if you have dry skin you take short, warm showers instead.

Pat your skin dry immediately after showering. This step will keep shower water from taking moisture from your skin as it evaporates. It is also a good idea to apply body lotion and moisturizer as soon as you have dried off.

Tip Three - Skip the Soap and reach for the Cream

Instead of using a soapy cleanser switch over to a cream cleanser. This will allow you to clean your skin without removing precious moisture. If your skin is extremely dry then try using olive oil instead.

Tip Four - Keep Environment Humidified

Air conditioning and central heating can dry out the rooms in your house. This doesn't seem to be much of a problem but it will eventually dry out your skin as well. This is why you should use a humidifier to maintain the humidity level in your house.

Tip Five - Anti Aging Creams

You can also use a traditional anti aging cream if your skin can tolerate it. If your skin reacts negatively too strong traditional skin care products, opt for natural skin products. These types of products can help treat your skin without leading to harsh reactions.

BIOSKINREVITALIZER is considered by some to be the best wrinkle cream out there. It is made with a unique combination of natural ingredients that help promote age spots removal and skin rejuvenation. As a matter of fact, this natural wrinkles cream is so gentle that it is safe for all skin types, even dry skin.
