Four Ways James Allen’s As a Man Thinketh Will Improve Your Life

As a Man Thinketh was written by James in Allen in 1903.

For well over 100 years this book has been helping people gain mind power and live happier, more successful lives.

Have you read it? It’s a relatively short book, but packed with useful truths that will increase your focus and awareness.

James Allen As A Man ThinkethJames Allen got the title for his book from Proverbs 23:7. This verse states, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he”. The basic idea of the book is that YOU determine who you are by what you think. Then Mr. Allen gives you tools to become a more powerful thinker.

1. The first way this book will help your life is by becoming a more powerful thinker, and being more aware of the thoughts you think.

This alone would be enough of a benefit to read the book. Here are a couple quotes from the book below:

“A man is literally what he thinks, his character being the complete sum of all his thoughts.”

“As the physically weak man can make himself strong by careful and patient training, so the man of weak thoughts, can make them strong by exercising himself in right thinking.”

2.  The second benefit you’ll get is a deeper understanding of the law of attraction. He says, “Men do not attract what they want, but what they are.” As you gain a deeper understanding of this principle, you’ll be able to use the law of attraction to create more of what you really want.

3.  Third, you’ll gain insight into the “blossoming” nature of thought as it crystallizes and grows into physical reality. It takes time. Consider this quote:

“As the plant springs from, and could not be without, the seed, so every one of your acts springs from the hidden seeds of your thought, and could not have appeared without them.”

4.  The fourth benefit you’ll receive from reading (or listening to) this gem of a book is increased responsibility for your own life. Our world is sorely in need of this message. People often blame others, or circumstances, for the negative situations of their life.

Here is another quote from the book:

“Many beautiful truths pertaining to the soul have been restored and brought to light in this age. One of the happiest and most promising of these truths is that you are the master of thought and the molder of your character. You are the maker and shaper of condition, environment, and destiny.”

Now that I’ve shown what this book can do for you, I’ll make it VERY easy to get it. I love this book dearly, and I’ve made it available to thousands.

You can get the Original Version of As A Man Thinketh right here. This includes the PDF book download AND the audio of the book.

The only drawback to the original version is that the author uses some archaic and lesser-known words. Remember that he wrote this over 100 years ago, and they spoke a bit differently back then. Since I wanted to share this book widely, I “translated” the entire book into easier to read language.

I also changed the wording from “man” to “you” to make it more personal, and also less sexist.

For example, here is a sentence in the original.

“A man is literally what he thinks, his character being the complete sum of all his thoughts.”

In my new version, this sentence is changed into the following:

“You are literally what you think, your character being the complete sum of all your thoughts.”
