Manic Depression, is also known as Bipolar Disorder. This type of depression is less common than the first two. It involves cycles of the Manic state, alternated with the Depressed state. This is often a long term recurring disorder. Sometimes the mood swings are very rapid. But more often they tend to be gradual.

 

There are many variations of depression, the above are only the three most common.

Some of the symptoms of depression are: 

Sadness; anxiety; pessimism; Insomnia and sleep disorders; guilt; feelings of worthlessness; weight loss; fatigue; restlessness; headaches; pain; and thoughts of suicide.

 

Sources of Depression:

Some types of depression runs in families. Living in a stressful environment can lead to a depression. A trauma such as a serious loss, financial problems, or problems in a relationship can also precipitate a depression.

 

Women are twice as likely to become depressed as men are, but scientists do not know why.

Foreword by Alan B. Densky.  I'll tell you a little bit about myself and my way of doing things.  I discuss the behavioral changes that are about to automatically take place for you.

Session 1: Knowledge Is Power. When clients come into my office, I don't just plop them down in a chair and start a hypnotic session.  Knowledge is power, and it accelerates and amplifies anyone's success.  So in Session 1 we discuss the different therapeutic approaches used in each session; how to obtain the best results; realistic expectations; the common misconceptions about hypnosis; the difference between a "Patient" and a "Client"; where stress and depression come from; and small changes to a person's thought processes that will have the greatest effect on how they feel.

Session 2: This is the first induction of hypnosis, and we utilize gentle methods to guide you into a blissful, deep state of relaxation.  Post hypnotic suggestions are given to the unconscious to eliminate stress and setup a positive expectation peace and tranquility. 

Session 3:  NLP Technique - Flash Away Stress.  There are very powerful Neuro-Linguistic Programming techniques that can be used to "flip" things around in the unconscious, so that thoughts and experiences that used to trigger feelings of stress actually trigger relaxation instead.  In this session you learn how to use NLP visualizations to train the unconscious to automatically eliminate disturbing thoughts and feelings of anxiety, stress, and depression.
